The Hotel Roma is located in the Winter Olympic town
of Albertvile in the Savoie region of the French Alps. We have found
the area to be fantastic for cycling and offers a huge range of rides,
suitable for all abilities.
For
those who want to ride the climbs there are plenty to choose from
as the Cols of Galibier, Colombiere, Glandon, Aravis, Saisies, Forclaz,
Madeleine, Cormet de Roseland and Mont Revard are all within easy
daily cycling distance. For those who want more gentle cycling then
the flat
circuit of the beautiful Lake Annecy could not be better, or the
valley roads to Moutiers, Chambery & St Jean de Maurienne.
The location is suitable for spring and summer riding and we shall
be offering this BIKE RESORT from 17th May to 27th
September.
The resort
of Albertville and the Hotel Roma are served by a number of airports,
Chambery
20mins, Grenoble 40mins, Lyon 1hr
15mins & Geneva
1hr 20mins. Most of these airports are served by the budget airlines
like Easyjet, Jet2, Ryan Air but also by BA and Air France.
