 Intur Sports are based in the seaside resort of Benicassim
in the region of Castellon, mainland Spain, approx 1hr drive north
of Valenica.
The Intur Sports group and is a dedicated Cycling Resort location.
It has recently been appointed as the Official Ridley Bike test centre
and they have also been recognised by the UCI as the approved location
for UCI Pro Tour team training camps.
The area is excellent for riding and training, offering a choice
of flat roads along the coast or through the Valencian orange groves
to
inland mountainous rides. In 2007 the professional teams Unibet & Chocolates
Jacques held their pre season training camps here, and also Britain’s
super vet Malcolm Elliott is a regular visitor.
 Both
Pro Tour Professional Cycling Teams Quick Step and Lotto Predictor
will hold their training camps at the Intur Sports complex this winter
2007 / 2008.
The
location is suitable for all year round riding and in the winter & spring
many of the top professional riders can be seen training in the area.
The Intur Sports Bike Resort will be available each week from 5th
January to 29th March and 12th
April till 31st Decmber 2008.
Intur
Sports comprises of 3 hotels (3* Hotel Azor, 4* Hotel Orange and
4* Hotel Bonaire) on the same street and offers brand new sporting
facilities that are second to none. At the hotel Orange there
is
a brand new bike store for the safe storage of your bike, a brand
new
gymnasium equipped with the latest Techo Gym, along with an indoor
25m swimming pool.
The resort of Benicassim and Intur Sports are served by Valencia
airport which is approx 1hr drive.
