The Amstel Gold Race Sportive and Pro Race 2014

20th April 2014

On The Cauberg, Amstel Gold RaceWhy not join us and lots of cycling fans at the 2014 Amstel Gold Race for a fantastic weekend of riding the Amstel Gold Sportive and then watching the professionals ride over the same course?

The Amstel Gold Race is part of the Spring Classics season and takes place in the province of Zuid-Limburg in the south of the Netherlands.
This is your chance to ride the 150km cyclo-sportive the day before watching the Pro race.

In 2013 Roman Kreuziger won the Amstel Gold Race in the Limburg province of the Netherlands after the Saxo-Tinkoff rider held onto his lead on the final climb of the infamous Cauberg at the end of the 251-kilometre ride from Maastricht to Valkenburg.

On this tour you will be one of the fortunate riders to take on the Tour Version of the 2014 Amstel Gold race. The distance is the 150km. The long distance is not available unless you take your chances through the lottery system. The sportive sells out in a matter of minutes.

The entry to the 150km cyclo-sportive on the Saturday includes many extras and will be an amazing experience for any keen cyclist.

After riding the course on the Saturday, we take you to strategic vantage points and watch the Pros come past at various points along the route.

Please note that for the 2014 Amstel Gold Race Cyclo Sportive the number of participants is limited and the online entry system sells out of entries within hours.
At Sports Tours International we can offer you guaranteed entries to this iconic cycling event.
