Paris Roubaix Challenge and Pro race 2017

7th to 10th April 2017

What an exciting event the 2016 Paris Roubaix was!!. Fast and furious, incredible speed and an unexpected but deserved winner in Austrailian Matt Hayman of Orica Green Edge.

The 2017 Paris-Roubaix Challenge in April 2017 gives you the opportunity to ride nearly the full route including all of the cobbles of one of the oldest and most significant of cycling events, the day before the Pro race. As in 2016 the 2017 Roubaix Challenge event will be held the day before the Paris Roubaix Pro Race. Sports tours international offers guaranteed entry to this enormously popular, mythical race.

Paris Roubaix Challenge Event Details:
After an early breakfast, our coach will take you to the start of the 2017 Paris Roubaix Challenge which will be in Busigny this year for the 163km distance. Busigny is about 30km from our hotels in Cambrai and about 1h30mins from Roubaix. The start is a fairly low key affair. We will get there and you can set off once you are ready. The route of the Roubaix challenge is a more or less direct route from Busigny near St Quentin to the Roubaix velodrome (note that the 145km and 70km routes start and finish at Roubaix Velodrome). Famously, large parts of the course are cobbled and tough to negotiate. At the finish in the Roubaix Velodrome we’ll be there for you with a sandwich and a drink.

Bring your bike and ride the cobbles in the Paris Roubaix Challenge before watching the Pros!

Bike Hire:
We are pleased to offer bike rental with many of our cycling tours in 2016 and 2017.
Your bike will be delivered to your hotel on arrival and it will be collected from you on departure. All bikes come with 2 bottle cages, a bike pump, a saddle bag with tube, tyre levers and a tool. Please note that you have to bring your own pedals and helmet and of course cycling clothing.
