Tour
of Flanders 2013 Cycling Holiday - Includes coach travel from the UK
(Including the Tour of Flanders Cyclo Event)
29th March
to 1st April 2013
Take the opportunity to ride the Tour of Flanders route in the cyclo sportive the day before the pros do it.
At Sports Tours International we have been operating trips to the Spring Classics since 1990. With more than 20 years’ experience, that means we know the inside track of each and every race and can get you to the best vantage points to make sure you are right at the heart of the action!
For the Tour of Flanders, we will take you round the back roads of Belgium enabling you to see the race at least 3 or 4 times (traffic permitting!!) at some of the most famous cobbled climbs of the Tour of Flanders route.
In 2012, the Tour of Flanders finished in Oudenaarde, instead of Meerbeke, and the race passed over the climbs of Oude Kwaremont and the Patersberg three times, during the final phase of the RVV, with the final climb 13km before the finish, potentially making this the decisive break.
The new route of the Tour of Flanders will make the race a great one for cycling enthusiasts to watch and enjoy, soaking up the unique Belgian cycling atmosphere.
The trip features a 3 nights stop in Ghent with no overnight travelling and the option to bring your bike and ride the 2013 Tour of Flanders Cyclo sportive, which includes all the climbs of the pro race even if you choose the medium length course. If you want to ride the Sportive on the Saturday, you must select the option at the time of booking. We will be operating two options of taking part in either the 140km or 70km Tour of Flanders cyclo event that follows the latter part of the race route including all the famous climbs.
Please note that if you want to come and join us in Belgium without taking the coach from the UK, we will come and collect you from Brussels airport.
