De Ronde 100 Classic Cyclo Sportive 2013 Cycling Holiday
Ride the route of this famous classic!
25th May 2013
The 'Ronde van Vlaanderen' or Tour of Flanders is celebrating its 100th edition in 2013 and this will be celebrated with a new cyclo-sportive event for amateur cyclists; De Ronde 100 Classic. The event will take place on Saturday the 25th of May 2013 and Sports Tours International, the Spring Classics specialists will be taking you there.
The event will be 324km long which is the same distance as the original 1913 race. We expect De Ronde 100 Classic to take in all of Flanders' most legendary climbs and cobbled sections. Shorter distances are available but the aim remains the same; to go back in time and to relive the days of cobbles and hard days in the saddle.
De Ronde 100 Classic will be held on the 25th of May which is the date of the original Ronde van Vlaanderen or Vlaanderen's mooiste (Flanders' most beautiful) as it was then called.
We are also expecting that there will be some festivities to take place around the event, namely a possible reunion of former Tour of Flanders winners.
The De Ronde 100 Classic has limited entries of 324 only.
De Ronde 100 Classic will be run as well as the original Flanders Cyclo Sportive which is held on March 29. (Ride the event and then watch the Classic Pro Race)
