The Etape Caledonia comes in the middle of May, and covers 81 miles of the Perthshire Highlands, making it the perfect domestic UK preparation for any European cyclo sportive, including the Etape du Tour.

With almost 2,000 metres of climbing it is no easy ride and will be a good indicator of how your training is going before you venture abroad. Plus you have the added attraction of cycling in Scotland, home of great scenery and culture.

Sports Tours International is proud to be associated with the organisers of the event (IMG) and we can therefore offer accommodation (at the time of writing, it’s the ONLY closed road event in the UK).

You can make your own way to Perthshire, with your bike; register on Saturday and stay in our luxury 3 star hotel (The Pitlochry Hydro) in the heart of Pitlochry, ready for the start; then have a relaxing journey home.

Prices are per person and include THREE nights (Friday/Saturday and Sunday Nights, 13th – 15th May), bed and breakfast basis in the conveniently located Pitlochry Hydro Hotel in the heart of Pitlochry.
