Cyclo Sportive Event...
31st May to 3rd June 2013

The Gran Fondo Mont Ventoux Beaumes de Venise is a classic cyclo sportive event held in the Vaucluse region of Southern France. It is held over a classic route that rivals the L’Etape du Tour. (See profiles below)

There are a choice of 2 distances: the 134km Master Event and the 91km Senior Event, both starting and finishing from the town of Beaumes de Venise. (More details below)
The following day you will have another chance to climb the Giant of Provence with a 21.5km mass participation event from Bedoin to the Weather Station of Mont Ventoux. Each rider will be given their personal time.

We are offering a long weekend trip to take part in both La Ventoux and Grimpe du Ventoux events. This would be an ideal weekend for those who are preparing for the Etape du Tour or the Marmotte or for those who have already done these events and fancy another challenging cyclo sportive event that takes in a famous Tour de France mountain.

Flights will be to Marseille and we will spend 3 Nights on Half Board basis (Bed, Breakfast & evening meal) at the 3* Hotel Le Pradet located in Vacqueyras. This region produces an exceptional red wine.

There are 2 distances to choose from on the main race day which is the 1st of June 2013. You will also have the opportunity to set your personal best time on the climb of Ventoux during the Grimpee event on the day after so the 2nd of June.
