Paris Roubaix Cyclo Sportive 2014
6th to 9th June 2014
Every 2 years the Paris Roubaix Sportive is held by the Roubaix Cycling Club. If you have always wanted to take on the famous cobbles of the Paris-Roubaix then here's your chance. This is a superb Cyclo Sportive which follows the route of the legendary course. This includes a lap of the Roubaix Velodrome plus a commemmorative Pave stone (cobble stone).
New for 2012 were two distance options: 210 km and 120km. These are available again this year.
The Legend : 210 km long, closely related to the course of the professional race, with 54 km of paving stones, from BOHAIN-En-vermandois (near Saint-Quentin and Cambrai) to the Roubaix Velodrome.
The Final : 120 km long as a shorter alternative, with 32 km of paving stones, starting in WALLERS-ARENBERG (near Valenciennes).
Both finish on the Velodrome track in ROUBAIX.
This event attracts a truly international field, with cycling fans flying in from all over Europe to take on the two different distances: the 210km or the 120km. These distances were new for 2012 when this event last took place.
Our coach together with a Sports Tours International vehicle will follow as many of you as possible, giving feeds and mechanical back up, but there will be numerous organised feeding stations and mechanical service present.
Our accommodation is in Cambrai near to the start in Bohain en Vermandois on Friday and Saturday for the start and Roubaix for the finish on Sunday. As the official Tour Operator for the UK for the 2014 Roubaix Cyclo we have many years of experience taking people to this event and our travel package is designed to help you get the most out of the event.
