The following packages are aimed at those people who already have an entry to Etape du Tour and require accommodation within easy access to both the start town of Pau and to the finish at Hautacam. We have a 3 night fixed centre trip based in Tarbes at the excellent 4* Le Rex Hotel.

This package is aimed at those people who have a limited amount of time to spend at the Etape du Tour, and is one of our more popular packages. Flights will be to Toulouse and Pau, whilst those choosing the self drive option can leave vehicles at the hotel in Tarbes or the airports of Toulouse and Pau.

This is a fixed centre trip that will be based in the city of Tarbes (25km from both the start and finish of the Etape) and will mean no checking out of the hotel in the morning of the Etape as we return to the same hotel after the finish.

There will be 40 places available for this package.

Friday 4th July:
Arrange your own flight or drive to either of the following airports, Toulouse or Pau. Alternatively drive direct to the hotel in Tarbes.

Please make sure that you book your bike onto the flight (this maybe at an extra cost). Flights are going to be in high demand, so please book early to secure a seat and get the best rate.

Those choosing to drive can leave their car at any of the airports (Toulouse & Pau) or at the hotel in Tarbes.

On arrival at your chosen airport you will be met by our reps, who will show you to the awaiting coaches that will take you to the 4* Le Rex Hotel in Tarbes, where we shall spend 3 nights on B&B basis.

Saturday 5th July:
Free day for making any last minute preparations before the event. In the morning you will be able to have a short ride and in the afternoon we shall join the coach and travel to Pau and the start village to collect your race number etc etc.

Sunday 6^th July:
This is it, the day of your dreams, your chance to ride a mountain stage of the 2008 Tour de France, 8500 participants, closed roads, feeding stations and Mavic assistance, just like the real thing……Start time is anticipated to be 07.30hrs, so after an early breakfast you will be taken from Tarbes the short distance to Pau for the start.
Our reps will be waiting for you at the Hautacam finish from where they will show you to the awaiting for the coach for transport back to Tarbes.

Monday 7^th July:
After breakfast we shall offer transfers back to the airport of Toulouse at the following times (07.00hrs, 10.00hrs & 13.00hrs) and to Pau for the Ryan Air flight back to London Stansted.
