This package is aimed at those people who have limited time to spend at the Etape du Tour but can afford themselves an extra day to get settled in before the event

Location Location Location is one of the most important factors in having a successful Etape du Tour, and this package has the convenience of spending 3 nights prior to the event in the start town of Pau and 1 night after the finish at a hotel 5km from the base of the climb to Hautacam.

This way you will have no need to use / wait for the coach. You will be able to ride to the stage start in Pau and after the finish ride direct to the hotel where your luggage will be waiting. It doesn’t come much better than that.

Thursday 3^rd July:

Please make sure that you book your bike onto the flight (this maybe at an extra cost). Flights are going to be in high demand, so please book early to secure a seat and get the best rate.

Those choosing to drive can leave their car at any of the airports of Toulouse & Pau and meet the coach.

On arrival at your chosen airport you will be met by our reps, who will show you to the awaiting coaches that will take you to your hotel in / near Pau, where we shall spend 3 nights on B&B basis a 2* hotel in or near Pau.

Friday 4^th & Saturday 5th July:
Free days for making any last minute preparations before the event. In the morning you will be able to have a short ride and afterwards collect your race number from the start village.

Sunday 6^th July:
This is it, the day of your dreams, your chance to ride a mountain stage of the 2008 Tour de France, 8500 participants, closed roads, feeding stations and Mavic assistance, just like the real thing……Start time is anticipated to be 07.30hrs, so after an early breakfast you will be able to ride from your hotel to the start.
After finishing you will be able to ride the short distance (5km) direct to your hotel where your luggage will be waiting for you.

Monday 7^th July:
After breakfast we shall offer transfers back to the airports of Toulouse at the following times (07.00hrs, 10.00hrs & 13.00hrs) and to Pau for the Ryan Air flight back to London Stansted.
