PAU FIXED CENTRE PACKAGE
3 NIGHTS FLYING / SELF DRIVE
Friday 4th to Monday 7th July
 This
package is aimed at those people who have a limited amount of time to
spend at the Etape du Tour, and is one of our more popular packages.
Flights will be to Toulouse, Bordeaux and Pau, whilst those choosing
the self drive option can leave vehicles at the hotel in Pau or the airports
of Toulouse Bordeaux and Pau.
This is a fixed centre trip that will be based in or on the outskirts of the
start city of Pau and will mean no checking out of the hotel in the morning of
the Etape as we return to the same hotel after the finish.
There will be a choice of 4 different standards of accommodation
(BUDGET, 2* STANDARD, 3* QUALITY, 4* LUX). City centre accommodation
will be on B&B basis whilst accommodation on the outskirts of Pau
will be on Half Board basis (Dinner B&B).
There will be 360 places available for this package.
Friday 4th July:
Arrange your own flight or drive to either of the following airports,
Toulouse, Bordeaux or Pau. Alternatively drive direct to the hotel
in Pau.

Please make sure that you book your bike onto the flight (this
maybe at an extra cost). Flights are going to be in high demand,
so please book early to secure a seat and get the best rate.
Those choosing to drive can leave their car at any of the airports
(Toulouse & Bordeaux) or at the hotel in Pau.
On arrival at your chosen airport you will be met by our reps, who
will show you to the awaiting coaches that will take you to your
hotel in Pau or outskirts of Pau, where we shall spend 3 nights.
Saturday 5th July:
Free day for making any last minute preparations before the event.
In the morning you will be able to have a short ride and afterwards
collect your race number from the start village.
Sunday 6th July:
This is it, the day of your dreams, your chance to ride a mountain
stage of the 2008 Tour de France, 8500 participants, closed roads,
feeding stations and Mavic assistance, just like the real thing……Start
time is anticipated to be 07.30hrs, so after an early breakfast you
will be able to ride from your hotel to the start.
Our reps will be waiting for you at the Hautacam finish and will direct you
to the Etape du Tour Official finish village which will be set up at the base
of the climb and where our coaches will be waiting to take you back to your
hotel in Pau.
Monday 7th July:
After breakfast we shall offer transfers back to the airports
of Toulouse and Bordeaux at the following times (07.00hrs, 10.00hrs & 13.00hrs)
and to Pau for the Ryan Air flight back to London Stansted.
