This package is aimed at those people who want to arrive a few days before the Etape du Tour, and have more time to either chill out and get ready for the event or check out some of the Etape stage route prior to the event.
You will spend 5 nights in the spa town of Bagneres de Bigorre at the excellent 3* Hotel Relais des Pyrenees (Laurent Fignon Cycle Centre). The hotel is located on the stage route and offers easy access to both the Col du Tourmalet and Hautacam for pre event inspection. On the 2^nd 3^rd & 4^th ex TDF Champion and hotel owner Laurent Fignon will be present and we be holding a training camp at the hotel.
Flights will be to Toulouse airport only, and clients on self drive can either leave their cars at Toulouse airport or at the hotel.
In the past we have found that people choosing this package arrive at the Etape du Tour in a more relaxed frame of mind.

There will be 40 places available for this package.

Wednesday 2^nd July:
Arrange your own flight or drive to either of the following airports, Toulouse or Pau. Alternatively drive direct to the Hotel Relais de Pyrenees – Laurent Fignon Centre in Bagneres de Bigorre.

Please make sure that you book your bike onto the flight (this maybe at an extra cost). Flights are going to be in high demand, so please book early to secure a seat and get the best rate.

On arrival at your chosen airport you will be met by our reps, who will show you to the awaiting coaches that will take you to the Hotel Le Relais des Pyrenees, where we shall spend 5 nights on Half Board basis (Eve Meal, B&B).
Those choosing to drive can leave their car at Toulouse airport or at the hotel in Bagneres de Bigorre.

Thursday 3^rd & Friday 4^th July:
Free days for cycling and route inspection. We are located on the Etape route and 12km from the base of the Col du Tourmalet, 35km from the base of Hautacam. During these days, Ex Tour de France winner Laurent Fignon will be holding a training camp based at the hotel and clients may be able to join in at an extra cost.

Saturday 5^th July:
Free day for making any last minute preparations before the event. In the morning you will be able to have a short ride and in the afternoon we shall join the coach and travel to Pau and the start village to collect your race number etc etc.

Sunday 6^th July:
This is it, the day of your dreams, your chance to ride a mountain stage of the 2008 Tour de France, 8500 participants, closed roads, feeding stations and Mavic assistance, just like the real thing……Start time is anticipated to be 07.30hrs, so after an early breakfast you will be taken from Bagneres de Bigorre the short distance to Pau for the start.
Our reps will be waiting for you at the Hautacam finish and will show you to the coach that will take you the short distance back to Bagneres de Bigorre.

Monday 7^th July:
After breakfast we shall offer transfers back to the airport of Toulouse at the following times (07.00hrs, 10.00hrs & 13.00hrs).
