Final Weekend in Paris Coach Trip

26th to 28th July 2014

This tour encompasses the final stage of the 2014 Tour de France on the Sunday in Paris with the late finish on the Sunday evening.

This is a travel package to watch the final weekend of the 101st Tour de France in Paris. Accommodation will be in the heart of Paris, only a few steps away from the Eiffel Tower, at the 4 star Hotel Novotel Tour Eiffel.

Our planned itinerary for this trip of the 2014 Tour de France - please note, this is the intended itinerary at this stage but things may change between now and the actual time of the Tour.


Saturday 26 July:
We will collect clients in the UK from:

  • Leeds Queens Hotel (City Square)
  • Manchester Victoria Train Station
  • Knutsford Services (M6 Southbound)
  • Keele Services (M6)
  • Junction 7 M6
  • Birmingham International Train Station (N.E.C.)
  • Watford Gap Services (M1 Southbound)
  • London Redbridge Tube Station
  • Dover Eastern Docks (Ferry Terminal)

Additionally, Please contact us if you require to be picked up at a service station on the motorways used.

We will take the 15.40hrs sailing from Dover to Calais, and travel direct to Paris, where we spend 2 nights at the 4* Hotel Novotel Tour Eiffel. The hotel is located in the heart of Paris only a few steps from the famous Eiffel Tower.

The rest of the evening will be at leisure to sample Parisian restaurants if you wish.

Sunday 27th July:
On Sunday, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then the day can be spent at your own leisure enjoying the sights of Paris. Late afternoon, we will walk the short distance from the hotel to the Champs Elysees. You will see the passage of the Tour de France Publicity Caravan, followed by the arrival of the 2014 Tour de France. The riders will complete 8 laps of a circuit based on the Champs Elysees.

The final stage of the 2014 Tour de France will start from the town of Evry and like last year, it will arrive in the evening on the Champs Elysees for a night-time finish.

Monday 28th July:
We will leave Paris and commence the journey back to the UK, taking the 13.30hrs sailing to Dover arriving Dover 14.00hrs, London 16.00, Birmingham 19.00hrs, Manchester/Sheffield 21.00hrs and Leeds by 22.00hrs.

 

4* Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel: £379 per person based on two people sharing a twin/double room.

Single supplement of £209 for the sole occupancy of a twin or double room.

At time of booking we require a non-refundable deposit per person plus any applicable entry fee. The balance of your travel package must be paid, at the latest, 12 weeks before departure to avoid the cancellation of your trip.

Important Information:
Visas are not required to enter France. You need a passport to enter France. As a British passport holder you may stay as a visitor for three months. For links to important websites, click here. All other non-UK passport holders must check their own country's entry requirements for France.
