This travel package to the start of the 2014 Tour de France will be based at the Yorkshire market town of Harrogate for 3 nights. This travel package is for those of you who want to make their own way to Harrogate to join us for the 2014 Tour de France Grand Depart in Yorkshire and be in the ideal place to enjoy the Tour without having to move around too much.

Please note that if you want to join us for the next stages of the 2014 Tour de France after you have seen the UK stages, you can join us in France on Tuesday the 8th of July for the rest of the 2014 Tour de France.

Friday the 4th of July:
Please make your own arrangements and come and meet us at the Crown hotel in Harrogate. If you aim to arrive mid-afternoon, our representatives will be at the hotel to welcome you.

Before the evening meal we will hold a welcome meeting to introduce our staff and to present the program for the next few days.

Saturday the 5th of July - Stage 1: Leeds to Harrogate - 190km
The 101st edition of the Tour de France will start today from the city of Leeds. The first stage of the 2014 Tour will be a 190km stage from Leeds to Harrogate. From our location in Harrogate you will be able to ride the short distance to see the stage start in Leeds or it is only 8 miles to get to Harewood house for example. Non-riders can either take the train to Leeds and back or spend the day in Harrogate to wait for the finish.

We will be in place to watch the stage finish in Harrogate and we will only have a very short distance back to our hotel to have dinner in the evening.

Why not book some Grandstand tickets on the finishing straight in Harrogate to get the best possible vantage point? More information on all of our VIP access and hospitality options, please click here.
