TOUR DE FRANCE 2014
The Vosges Stages
7th to 11th July 2014
This tour is for those people who have a limited time to watch the 2014 Tour de France but who want to see some of the most exciting and dramatic stages.
The first mountain stages of the 2014 Tour de France will take place in the beautiful Vosges region of Eastern France and on this tour you will see 2 Mountain top finishes (Gerardmer La Mauselaine & La Planche des Belles Filles) plus a hilly stage to Mulhouse. It is on these stages that riders with any ambitions of a high placing in Paris must show their faces. We have seen in previous Tours de France that the first mountain stages are more exciting than some of the final stages. It is on these stages that you’ll get to see which riders are hot, and which are not.
For those bringing bikes you will be able to ride the climbs that feature on the 2014 Route du Tour such as the climbs of Gerardmer La Mauselaine & La Planche des Belles Filles
We will spend 4 nights in the city of Mulhouse at the 3* Hotel du Parc with breakfasts and evening meals included.
Please arrange your own flight to Basel-Mulhouse airport where our reps will meet you and we will offer regular transfers to your hotel in the centre of Mulhouse.
Sports Tours International is the most experienced tour operator to the Tour de France. We have been taking you to see the Tour for twenty years and give you a fantastic trip with amazing insights into the Tour.
To supplement your itinerary and make this trip extra special, we have some VIP hospitaility options available for you as well.
