TOUR DE FRANCE 2010 - RIDE THE WHOLE TOUR

29th June - 23rd July 2010

“Ride Le Tour” is the ultimate challenge……….where you will be able to ride the whole or part of the 2010 Tour de France route, 3 days ahead of the Pro Peloton.
You will ride the exact stage route as the pros and take rest days when they do.

We have divided the 2010 Tour de France route into 3 Challenge rides, broken up by the 2 rest days, and you can ride just one challenge, or all 3.

Rotterdam to Morzine Avoriaz 29th June to 9th July (9 stages)
Les Rousses to Revel 7th to 15th July (6 stages)
Ax les 3 Domaines to Paris 14th to 23rd July (7 stages)

Each tour will be limited from 10 to 15 riders.

You are not obliged to ride the whole stage each day, and you can travel part way in our support van and ride the distance that suites you.

Throughout each stage you will have the full vehicle support with energy products, and 2 Sports Tours staff to look after you.

Accommodation will be booked in the stage towns on Dinner Bed & Buffet Breakfast basis at 2* and 3* Hotels.

Rotterdam to Morzine Avoriaz (Flat stages, Cobbles & Alpine Mountains)
Wednesday 29th June to Saturday 9th July 2010

Tuesday 29th June 2010:
Arrange your own flight to Amsterdam airport, where we shall meet you and take you the short distance to Rotterdam centre.

Wednesday 30th June: Rotterdam Prologue route, 8km
Thursday 1st July: Rotterdam to Brusells, 224km flat stage
Friday 2nd July: Brusells to Spa, 192km hilly stage with parts of Liege & Fleche
Saturday 3rd July: Wanze to Arenberg Porte du Hainaut, 207km flat stage with Roubaix cobbles
Sunday 4th July: Cambrai to Reims, 150km flat stage
Monday 5th July: Epernay to Montargis, 185km flat stage
Tuesday 6th July: Montargis to Gueugnon, 225km flat stage
Wednesday 7th July: Tournus to Les Rousses, 161km Medium Mountain stage with summit finish
Thursday 8th July: Station les Rousses to Morzine Avoriaz, 189km High Mountain stage

Friday 9th July:
You will be taken to Geneva airport for your return flight. Those continuing for the 2nd week will spend rest day in Morzine.

Les Rousses to Revel (Alpine stages and Masiff Central)

Wednesday 7th July 2009:
Arrange your own flight to Geneva airport, where we shall meet you and at 16.00hrs we shall travel to the small ski station of Les Rousses (50km from Geneva).

Thursday 8th July: Station les Rousses to Morzine Avoriaz, 189km High Mountain stage
Friday 9th July: Rest Day in Morzine
Saturday 10th July: Morzine to St Jean de Maurienne, 204km High Mountain stage
Sunday 11th July: Chambery to Gap, 179km Medium Mountain stage
Monday 12th July: Gap to Bourg Les Valence, 180km Flat stage
Tuesday 13th July: Bourg de Peage to Mende, 210km Medium mountain stage with summit finish
Wednesday 14th July: Rodez to Revel, 195km flat stage

Thursday 15th July:
You will be taken to Toulouse airport for your return flight.

Arrange your own flight to Toulouse airport, where we shall meet you and at 12.00hrs & 17.00hrs we shall offer transfers to hotel in Revel

Thursday 15th July: Revel to Ax 3 Domaines, 184km High Mountain stage
Friday 16th July: Pamiers to Bagneres de Luchon, 187km Mountain stage
Saturday 17th July: Luchon to Pau, 196km Mountain stage
Sunday 18th July: Rest Day Pau
Monday 19th July: Pau to Tourmalet, 174km High Mountain stage
Tuesday 20th July: Salies de Bearn to Bordeaux, 190km Flat stage
Wednesday 21st July: Bordeaux to Pauillac 51km Individual TT
Thursday 22nd July: Longjumeau to Paris Champs Elysees, 105km

Friday 23rd July:
You will be taken to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport for your return flight. Alternatively, stay on in Paris and see the finish of the Tour de France and take advantage of our Grandstand packages.
