The Raid Pyrenean 2016 Cycling Holiday
19th to 25th June 2016
In 2016 we will run our Raid Pyrenean trip from Sunday the 19th of June until Saturday the 25th of June.
The Raid Pyrenean is a 714km randonnée from sea to sea across the backbone of the Pyrenees connecting the town of Hendaye on the Bay of Biscay with Cerbere on the Mediterranean. We follow the official Raid Pyrenean route as set by the Cyclo Club Bearnais. The route takes you over many of the cols which feature so prominently in the Tour de France, including the Tourmalet, Aubisque, Marie Blanc, Aspin, and Peyresourde.
For this fully supported 2016 Raid Pyrenean you will leave Hendaye on the Monday morning, and the aim of the Randonnée is to complete the distance within 100 hours, thus arriving at Cerbere by Friday lunchtime.
This is an absolute classic cycling challenge and every keen cyclist should have done the Raid Pyrenean at least once.
2016 dates: Sunday 19 June to Saturday 25 June
Why not stay in the Pyrenees a bit longer and come a bit earlier to join us for Spain's No1 Cyclo-Sportive, The Quebrantahuesos? After the QH, you can have a day off in Biarritz before starting the Raid Pyrenean.
