28th July to 5th August 2012
Join our Tower 2 Tower charity cycle challenge and ride from Blackpool Tower to Eiffel Tower in Summer 2012. The trip starts on the 28th July in Blackpool and will snake its way down through England and over the English Channel, before finally arriving in Paris at the Eiffel Tower on Saturday 4th August.
Each day we will ride between 70 and 100 miles, depending upon the route. You won’t have to worry about your luggage, as this will be transferred separately for you to the accommodation for your arrival. After you have reached Paris, there will be a celebration meal on the Saturday night there and then we will travel back to the UK by coach, with stops in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
The aim of the event is to raise much needed funds for various charities, but the main charity is Challenge 4 Change, a Manchester based charity, which provides learning through fun and making a real difference. Other charities will also benefit from the fundraising associated with the trip.
You can learn more about what Challenge 4 Change want to do by visiting the main Tower 2 Tower website at www.tower2tower.org.uk or follow their twitter feed.
Already lots of people have signed up for this event, so don’t get left behind and sign up now! Already we have ex footballers Colin Hendry (Blackburn, Man City, Rangers and Scotland), Michael Gray (Blackburn, Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday and England), Chris Makin (Sunderland and Marseille) and Nick Summerbee (Manchester City, Sunderland and Swindon).
You can download the charity's registration form and return it them if you wish.
