Absa Cape Epic Mountain Bike Training Camp
Please note – The information below relates to 2013. Details for 2014 are coming soon.
Club La Santa, the World’s leading sports resort, is proud to offer the official European moutain bike training camp for the iconic and famous African mountain bike race, the Absa Cape Epic. Every year at the end of March South Africa hosts this well known mountain bike multi stage race held over 8 days of approximately 800km and 16,000m of climbing for cycling amateurs and professionals from around the World.
Lanzarote, part of the Canary Islands and located about 100 miles northwest of the stunning Morocco coastline, is the ideal location to train for such an adventurous and extreme moutain bike event; not only because of the similar road and track conditions, but also the warm and sunny climate in combination with the perfect training facilities at Club La Santa. This camp is not only for Absa Cape Epic (future) participants, but for all experienced mountain bike riders with a passion for stage racing (you should be able to ride 4-5 hours on the mountain bike daily). This will really get your season off to a fantastic start, with such focussed training.
