Andy Cook bike weeks - Club La Santa - Lanzarote

3rd to 16th January 2014

Following our success with the Andy Cook Bike Training Camp for the last few years in January, Club La Santa once again welcomes you to an outstanding opportunity of participating in an intensive week's training or general riding on the island of Lanzarote.

The training/riding week/s will prepare you and the participants from several European countries for the season ahead in an amazing way in the fascinating Lanzarote volcanic landscape.
Andy Cook, several guest riders and the Club La Santa bike guides will assist and lead you on the rides in different groups according to your individual level from relative beginners to seasoned club riders.

The terrain of the island is very varied with significant mountain climbs as well as undulating roads, so Lanzarote is a perfect place to train and ride. You will be taken to the beautiful North, the fascinating Fire Mountains and to the far South. You will climb the steep Fémes, a 'Hors Category' climb and the long and beautiful Tabayesco.

You will bike a large part of the Ironman Lanzarote course. During the long rides there will be stops allowing you to have a sandwich and refreshment while enjoying the beautiful views.

The bike rides start every morning with a short briefing of the course for the day's ride after which the first group will depart. The routes will vary in length each day to offer various routes with different levels of difficulty. There will be many hours in the saddle with a relatively low intensity, but there will also be time for other activities.

The camp is restricted to guests staying at Club La Santa during the event. Pre-registration is required as we have a limited number of spaces available. The price for one week is 130 Euros or 180 Euros for two weeks, including all activities during the Bike week, sandwich and refreshments on long rides, t-shirt and the celebratory dinner. The full payment for the camp will take place in the welcome meeting upon arrival in Club La Santa.
